Okay, so I had an old tank lying around with a heater and filter so I decided to set it up. I added some reef sand and some LR, plus some rubble in the tiny HOB filter. Added some water today checks out at around 1.023. Hopefully it will cycle by the end of the week!

Everything but the light fixture I have not bought cost me under 120$.

Okay so I headed over to Amazon Stingrays and saw some Sargeant Majors and I ended up heading home with 2, 10 astreas and almot a bta. Anyway, totally off topic but I have woodworking at my school, so I am making an HOB sump/heater holder so I can dose and adjust heat without freaking out tank inhabitants and keeping a better temp.(IT IS OUT OF 1/4" ACRYLIC, NOT WOOD!) And will hook up a rio 50 to intake, 69 gph, 12 times an hour cycle, no more because I hear anglers do not like flow. I am planning on dosing Cal/Alk a/b + Mag

Upon closer observation of my fish, I think it resembles something more like this. The spots on the tail were just like it.
Reasons to ID it this way:

    Tail Spots

although there is another closely related specimen without eye spots (L. lithinostom) Below, notice no eye spots or Esca. However this fish does not come in pink, only green and is VERY rare which leads me to believe L. trisignatus is the fish.

Second, Color. Mine is pink which is one of the common colors for this fish

Third, illicium length. I clearly remember it being longer thn 2nd dorsal "spine"

    Pics soon!

pretty cool damsels. I don't really care for damsels, but these ones are one of the coolest.

Yeah, they were going to end up in my main display anyway. I think they died from stress caused by them being attacked by a group of huge damsels at the store they got ich, I treated but it didn't help... it was a losing battle. Did a 100% WC and got the angler
