    The Plan:
A 55 gallon high flow tank with mostly SPS corals some LPS and Softies and small schooling or pairs of fish.

Key ideas are simple, high flow, pest irradication, water changes every 2 weeks at least 10%, habitat, feeding well, dosing calcium

    Equipment:
One of the main things that crashed my tank was the formation of "dead zones" where algae bloomed. To solve this I will have 2 powerheads instead of 1 pumping in a circular pattern around my tank. I would like to get an Vortech MP 20 or oth timed powerhead for this tank. Another important add will be a skimmer. Since I am limited to an HOB design, my choice will be severly limited. I am looki into the Reef Octopus HOB series as I have heard they are excellant. Finally I am adding a TEK 4X54W T5 light.

    Fish:
So far there are many fish that I want for this tank, which may be too big. I am however moving to a 180 in 6 months so I think housing them and growing them for a short period of time before transfering them to a 180 would be OK. Most of these fish are mix and match I plan on housing a few, not all.

    3 Lyretail Anthias CHECK
Baby Regal to go into 180?
    Clown Goby Pair for Breeding
    Target Mandarin
    Swissguard Basslet
    Swalesi Basslet
    Mystery Wrasse
    Potters Wrasse
    Hoeven's Wrasse
Blue Gudgon Dartfish (school of 3)
    Twinspot Goby

I will have to narrow this down to 4 or 5 I really like, this will likely change based upon whats I see in the stores.

    Coral:
    ORA Green Birdsnet
    Easy Acros
Bright Montis (have a blue one)

    AS for CUC
    LOTS of sand sifters,
    A few more Mexican Turbos
    Astreas
    Urchin

    PICS SOON!
    Louis

(please keep in mind that my tank did not completely crash but rather the algea and phosphates got to the point where things were starting to suffer. I removed most of the rock and added new CYCLED rock, then waited 3 weeks before adding any fish and a month before coral. I KEPT ALL SAND 10% OF LR AND ALL WATER)

I'll have pics after the water change, I still have to move some stuff around, install my new T5 and get a skimmer and phosban reactor.

Sorry, no update in a while....Ended up with a reef octo BH100S, and current fish list is still just the anthias. Added quite a few corals including Tyree Pink Lemonade ORA Red Planet, Tri Color Acro, Duncan Colony, Symphilia Colony, Acan Colony, and an RBTA.
Params are all within the norm, 10 gallon waterchanges every week.

depends on the camera, mine has a natural light setting that makes the blue lights look a little less blue and it doesnt glare the glass or anything.
