Yesterday Mattias and someone else brought up my old build thread from June. Needless to say the tank has been through a lot (especially a move) so I figured since its so different know, another new build thread.

Gone is the pinnacle nutrient sink reef structure of old. In is 2 coral bommies with a massive Goniopora reaching between the two. Gone are the weak Koralia 750s, having been replaced with 2 new 1050s. Gone is the mishmash of corals wherever I liked them, corals are now placed according to flow leading to better colors. And finally, gone is the GHA!

Fish (Vinny is cringing at this point):
    Small Bluethroat Trigger 3"
PAIR of appie destroying Pearlscale Butterflyfish
    2 Green Chromis
    Arc Eye Hawk

    Coral:
DFS "Pink" (Turning into a BoP) Birdsnest from Paul's Corals
    MASSIVE (13"X9") Green Goniopora
Duncan, went from 3 to 37 heads
Wellso, suffered during move, coming back
    Milli
Big Purple/Grey Chalice (looks like hollywood stunner)
    Orange Monti Cap
    Symphillia
    Mayan Sun Favia
    1.0reef's favorite, the Blueberry Chalice
Some rare chalice from Paul, got it from Cherry Corals
    Green Palyozoa Gigantus
    Various other small things

Looking into PPEs and other Zoos

    Inverts:
    2 Bicolor BTAs
Green Carpet (small but doesn't look at all like Maxi-mini)
    Porcelain Crab in BTA
    Various Snails and CUC stuffs

    Equipment:
2x Koralia 1050s (not enough flow still)
Aquaclear 70 (used for running carbon or filter floss)
Reef Octo BH100F Skimmer (main filter)
Via-Aqua 200w Titanium heater with controller
4x bulb T5 ATI bulbs as follows:
    2x AB special
    2x Blue +

I know by now you want an FTS, I'll get one up in a bit when the daylights come on. So thats my boring little piece of the reef for you guys. Now two years old.

are you using KISS to represent "Keep it simple stupid?"

I look forward to the images the Panfish , certainly sounds like it contains some very nice looking corals and a less crowded aquascape now
