Everyday? IMO that isn't good because its so small and parameters could fluctuate more

i have steady parameters. no fluctuations. it equals out to about 10% per week. since my tank is so small if i did weekly water changes i would have to take out a lot more water than on tiny little cup, which would probably be harder on my system. i will never have to dose as long as i keep up with my water changes.

Personally, if it could be easily done, I see this as the best way for most if not all(reef) systems. I think a very small amount everyday would keep a tank more stable than a larger amount every or every-other week. Just my thought on it though.

i like it, IMO its easier to forget a weekly or bi weekly water change. what i do is i make it part of my morning routine. wake up, brush the teeth, eat, do a water change.... it works out nicely. it serioiusly takes 1 minute or so.

cool, glad i could give you two this idea. you may need to do more than one cup haha. you will have to do the math and figure out a percentage that works for you.

Yeah. How did you figure out the amount of salt you need for a 1c WC? I'll tke that amount and multiply time the amount of cups I do for 1 WC in my tank.

Edit: If I do 1/2c salt per gal. then for each WC I should have...1/8c or 2tbs (because 16 Tbs = 1c liquid volume) salt per quart water.

I think if I do 2 quarts a day then that will put me at 10% WC every 6 days. It wouldn't go in evenly so I will be just about 10% for the weekly total WC of 3.5g.
