so i might get a fish today after my piano class (yeah, i play piano lol). This isnt my LFS though; they sell a few different things including clown gobies which my normal LFS doesnt. who knows, I might just get a hi fin red banded goby lol. But anyway I might bring back something; hopefully i do. Just got to bring my own money because my dad probably wont pay me after the whole biocube/fish/coral deaths

so yeah here's my new scape. If i get a goby or 2 there are 2 holes on the bottom that i made with the rocks, and all the way in the back to the left is a little space if any fish want to hide. I would shoot a pic but the tank is also right next to a wall so the left side isnt really accessible to see anything. but anyway i like this scape; its not bad and im proud of it ;D

And finally one more thing: nitrates are at 30-40. I'm assuming I overfed my clown is it ok if I buy my fish and do a 3 gallon water change?

just a quick water change will clear that up, you just have fish and its brief so probably no harm done.

well I'm a little furious because I asked my dad if we could go to the fish store he said no. Asked him like 3 times, still said no. I even brought my own money to buy a goby, he said no. Probably doesn't trust me still wish fish... So now I'm stuck AGAIN... I doubt my mom will even take me to my LFS, so now I've really run out of ideas.

Well now you can get your nitrates in check and have your parameters perfect when you do get your new fish. ;D

so i did a WC; maybe today I can go to my LFS. Just worried because they don't always have the fish you want. Like I don't think they even sell YWG's, purple firefish (they have regular ones for $12), or neon gobies either. They do have midas blennies and alge blennies but no starry blennies (there so cool!). A few dottybacks and anthias in 10 gallons... once they even had an achilles in a 55 gallon.
