Well something interesting just happened; my dad actually offered to buy me a new 29 gallon biocube! As much as it would be really nice, i actually told him no since I don't feel like spending anymore money then what I've spent already. I know this is an expensive hobby, so I'm trying to save as much as possible; that's not the reason I'm doing the 10 gallon though. Then he even suggested getting a 20 gallon tank which seems pretty good, but again I think i'll stick to the 10 gallon because I actually want to be able to take care of fish in such a small environment, making sure that all parameters are in check. Then maybe I'll upgrade, and besides, doing a 10 gallon might just make a 29 gallon easier to maintain.

A 20 gallon would make a decent sump if you decided to upgrade in the future.

:)Anyway here are some pics of what i did last night and am doing today.
[IMG] Here's my freshwater which has 1 guppy and 3 glofish, 1 red and 2 green. replaced pebbles with sand for substrate although there are still some pebbles there. might actually get a crayfish again, although it practically killed all my other fish in the past XD

Here's the saltwater as of now.
[IMG] im gonna put it on the 29 gallon biocube stand; im draining that out right now. Suggestions would be appreciated right now :) sorry it looks so damn ugly right now too XD

right on. good luck. i am too atm. but id love to get a 10 sump so i can have no skimmer and hob anymore, its just a cleaner look. i was thinking of just putting the hob in the sump for extra filtration. just dont have the time to do it right now but its a plan of mine.

IDK why everyone acts like he cant decide to switch to a larger tank later it was his father that offered. Im sure if he made his mind up to do a larger tank again that his dad would get it for him later if he already offered once. he had done a 29 gallon before and wants a challenge nothing wrong with that at all. yes options are limited but if that is what he wants why is everyone acting like its impossible to do?? GO FOR IT MAN like i said before i will be waiting on pics 8)
