I was digging through my photobucket and found some pics of my past piranha tanks. They weren't anything spectacular, but they weren't no girly redbellies neither.

This was a 75 with a shoal of 3 large P. Caribe, and 2 medium P.Ternzetti. This tank was a real attention grabber, especially at feeding time. The stuffed piranha on the top is around 13" for a size referance . . . and the only thing I have left of this fishroom.

And this little guy was a black diamond rhom I had in my bedroom on a dresser. Hands down THE meanest fish I have ever seen. I have never been so scared putting my hands in water than i was with this guy swimming around. I fed him fish strips and diamond tetras (they were WAY faster than goldies).

I sold everything when i moved across the country from northern NH to Florida. I had some dwarf snakeheads, nice ruby red oscar pair, and another community tank that were sold for pennies on the dollar. It was a hit in the gut when I heard about all the screwey rules down here about keeping such awesome fish, so I took a break and started keeping and breeding boas.

Cooking those would have been tough . . . they were my babies, and at the time worth well over $100 each for the big pygos.
