so i decided to update this thread on the progress of my tank because it has evolved so much since the last time I have updated this page...

I own a 28g jbj nano cube with power compact lighting.

I recently just bought a torch coral, a ricordia (what i believe it is...), and a montipora.
I also changed my whole aquascape because I am getting obsessed with my tank and I want it to be perfect!!! anyways heres some recent pics!

Tank is looking great but I would only add the blenny bc you have quite a few fish in the tank as it is and it would be a great addition to the tank! Keep us posted with anything new!

Did you buy the tank and stock used or is this new?

Don't add anything in until your cycle is complete. Even cured live rock has die off. Keep track of your ammonia and nitrite. I would have the water tested weekly. Once you are certain the cycle is over you could then add one more fish and you would be topped out on fish.

A dwarf angel would be stretching the tanks capacity. Plus, you didnt really cycle your tank. To be safe, a 3-4 week cycle should be completed. Not a one week cycle. As 2in10 stated, keep checking those params frequently. Right now, it's like you have 3 months worth of stock in one week. And IMO your fish may be stressing out. Don't mean to bs pessimistic.

It will may be a month or so before it finishes cycling. Just keep doing the test weekly. The nitrogen cycle is complete for the most part when ammonia and nitrite are at zero steady.

Ok if the tank is cycling and I cant get fish in coral then I should get a skimmer correct?

I would just run a filter cartridge and carbon for now. Maybe a skimmer for fish waste, but I'm not sure if it would slow the cycle.
