well if he got scared i doubt he will be out. ( give it till tomorrow..)

one thing to consider is to look.. VERY CAREFULLY.. and i mean CAREFULLY and check all around your tank and feet away from your tank.. check everywhere.
i cant stress this enough.. when i reacuascaped my chromis jumped and i thought i crushed him and i loked for him inside the tank moving rocks ad stuff and to later find him 4 feet away from my tank.
( not saying yours jumped but try to look everywhere and calmly to not overlook anything)
if you do find him put it in the tank asap.. and maybe its not to late.

ok, i dont think he jumped as insteead of trying to jump when he gets scared he goes into the rocks and thats what he did when i was trying to catch the chromis, doesnt hurt to check though, im almost afraid of moving the rocks around right now i think i will give him some time

i also think all of the other fish are a little stressed from earlier i fed them the same amount of food as always and they hardly ate any of it

i know right, im surprised my wrasse didnt hide, he was out the entire time i was trying to catch the chromis and moving around the rocks, and the whole reason why i was doing this was because the chromis was beating him up tonight, i guess he can handle a lot more than i thought he could

Well do you really care of the health of the chromis? I mean at this point just use a net if you want it gone.

noe i no longer have any feelings towards the chromis now, i was trying to use a net but hes just so darn fast and then the stupid brace would get in my way and the net would get caught on rocks he hides and just sits there in the rocks grrr so annoying, he better of not had made me accidently kill my firefish

Easiest thing Ive found for netting fish, get them in the front of the tank and then net them, Granted I have a huge net, its probably 7 inches in length. It makes it easier that way.

when i got him to the front of the tank that was when i was almost able to net him i was literally right be hind him, could have easily scooped him up, but then the brace got in my way, we have an old big green net probably about the size of yours in the garage, i think ill just rinse it off and try again tomorrow, maybe i can catch him when he's checking out the new wrasse

Don't go moving your rocks around. Every time you mess around with your tank, you're stressing your fish. What good would it do anyway? If you crushed him (highly doubtful) all you would find is a crushed fish.

The most dangerous thing that people put into their tanks is their hands.
