Nownow!... One thing I have learned in this hobby, dont buy something just because it is cheaper! Buy the one that you really want to have. It will save you money in the long run annnnnnnnd make a happier you !

 

haha true true, lol that would mean like almost all of my fish would be $150 or more lol that's also why i'm having issues trying to decide on getting the pruple firefish or helfrich's firefish as the helfrich's is $150 also and the purple is much cheaper

 

I personally prefer the Flame Firefish or Purple. Not a huge fan of the other one. My Flame Firefish plays with my powerhead. It is quite amusing.

 

yea i'll get one or the other, i do like the purple if i don't get the helfrich's but i live the helfrich's pinkish/purple and yellow head, it's a very pretty fish.

 

get the helfrich then.

 

I would watch out for that as I've had a fish jump through egg crate and heard other stories about fish jumping through eggcrate. It would suck for you to lose you expensive fish.

 

yea, that's my only worry, i just don't know what to use besides eggcrate, and a cannopy really isn't an option

 

Weird, I know fish jump and all but I have never had a fish try to jump out LOL. Though I have a glass top to my aquarium so I dunno.

 

i have the glass top that came with the tying lying around, but it doesn't fit because of my equipment so i can't use that. And if the fish were to try to jump, they would fry themselves because they would hit the light and burn
