Hello all, i was reading the newbie thread about brown algae and he said that he has fish in his new tank. I have the same problem with algae and i also have two saddleback clowns and a green anemone as well. The people at the shop told me i would need them in to get the biological filter up and running. They have been in for over two weeks now and they seem to be doing quite well. Is there anything i need to keep an eye out for.

    Ninty.

How old is your tank? Do you use tap water or RO water?

If you are cycling with them, the anemone needs to go back to the store ASAP.

Sounds like the store you're going to has some misinformed employees, I wouldn't get any more advice from them. The anemone will kill the tank off when it dies during the cycle.

The system is just over three weeks old, i use R/O water. When i went to get my live rock i told them that i had put red sea nitrobac in to start the filter. The woman there suggested that i dump all of the water and start again:confused:. You are not misreading pharmrjohn.
