I've seen many and there usually "lagoons" as aposed to tanks. Usually try are shallow pools that are like 16'x20'. Tottalling around 1200g. My LFS has one.

My ultimate goal is to put a small cat shark in my 210 once it's established. I've been watching user "tropical addict" post and look back at her build thread of her tank. There is alot of help there. I've also read alot on MonsterFishKeepers in there ray/shark section.

I think with shark tanks you want alot of surface area. Your 210 won't be the best for a cat shark IMO. They prefer a tank with alot of swim room and a depth of like 2'.

There's alot of people that will agree and disagree with you on that. I would agree if it was a bigger species shark but from researching the cat shark I think that my tank and its size would be adquate for at minimum a several years. The way the rock will be scaped he will have sufficient room to swim and move.

I stand correcected, they require 180+. I would just feel bad putting a 3' fish in a 210. But maybe that's just me.

A wobbegong is not a good choice for a home aquarium. The two wobbegongs most often offered are the ornate and the spotted, both of which reach a maximum of 9 1/2 feet or more. The only real reasonable wobbegong is the tassled, which reach 4 feet, but they are very rarely for sle from what I have read. Even for a tassled you are looking at a very very large system and even more expensive equipment to keep the system going. I do not reccommend them at all.

When I get the shark he will be 8-12 inches max. He will grow to 3 feet but thats over a course of years. Once I feel he's getting crammed for space I will to the next step to get him proper swimming room. Whether thats me getting a larger tank or donating him to a aquarium or a LFS that has room for him.

This is the 4ft cat shark at my lfs.
In a 700g tank. I felt it still needed more room.
I'm not anti shark but they are very cool and hate to see one grow up in a tank that will not be adequate for when its older.

I would suggest before you buy, you ask around, you'll find it a lot harder than you think to find someone that will take a large cat shark. Most aquariums won't take it.

that seems mean to me! he's gonna need a a huge tank to start with and he's gonna cost $600! At least at liveaquaria! Just seems like a huge cost for little return and little time spent! it may be wise to make sure that you have a place that will take him once he does get too big! I know there is no where near me that could take a 3' shark! talk to some aquariums, i betchya they get people begging them all the time to take fish! But prob dont have room for them either! just seems like an aweful idea on all fronts unless ya got a huge check account! dont see how ya could make a proper home for it for under $4000 with a huge yearly budget to boost!
