Live Aquaria small cat/bamboo shark are 59.99
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Cat Shark, Black Banded
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Marbled Bamboo Cat Shark

Those are the two species im interested in and in the smallest size. We must have some confusion as to what I was referring to.

Still a 3' fish? alot of money invested for little return and a ton of work! IMO i just think its ridiculous unless you have alot of cash to spend and time to invest! i have a buddy that has a ray tank and that just burns through cash and time! Big things poop big!

You cant really talk money & throwing cash in this hobby though. Thats like breathing without air. I mean I know I have 4 digits deep into my tank easily and its only a 75g.

It's whatever his personal preference in livestock is. Me personally I'm not a yellow tang fan, but others love them. Same difference.

I doubt very few hobbyists can get out of the hobby & draw the return investment thye put into it, so doesnt that kinda make us all money wasters?

Back on track though, like already mentioned several times over there isnt really a dwarf or small tank style shark out there. You may play to find it a new home when it gets bigger, but what do you do if it dont happen? Keep the shark in a tank so big that it cant even turn around? Sure sharks are really awesome, but just something best to see in the zoo or in the wild imo.

I'm going to sound like an ass for saying this, but why not look into a big FW shark tank? Like a river tank? Those are cool.
