thinking about getting one of these. would it work?

    well i wanted to add some color to my scorp tank and a little activity. would this fish work? it says minimum 50 gals and i have a 55. well here it is.
    Red Diana Hogfish

    current inhabitants are S. brasiliensis and a serpent starfish, and an urchin.

    Not unless your scorpion is a tiny baby and the hog is full grown. Even then, it would only be temporary. The hog will most likely think the fish is algae and detritus and try to feed there. Once the hog is big enough, that hogfish will be an expensive dinner.

    the scorp is 3 inches. the hogs is around 2 to 3. the scorp will get 9-12 inches. the hog will get to 10. wouldnt it be safe then?

    I think Curt is right. I wouldn't risk it.

    I've seen small anglers kill much larger fish than you would think they would attack. I don't see how this would be any different.

    Yup, looks like a beautiful scorpion dinner. Anglers/Scorpions should really be kept in a species tank, and not with a mix of the two.
