These are being imported from China. They are the same ones being rebranded by alot of vendors here in the US. If you check Alibaba.com you can do a search and contact the manufacture yourself to order. That way you can have more control. I am getting ready to order the same lights with a dimmable controler to simulate dusk dawn. I am also changing the reflectors to 90 degrees instead of the stock 120 degree. I am also adding a few purple leds to give me more of the figi puple look. Many people seem to be afraid of Chinese manufactured items but I don't see why. They seem reliable and have a three year warranty. Check out this site.led grow lights,Tube Lights,Grid Lamps,Spot Lights,Led Bulb - Shenzhen Baisheng Semiconductor Lighting Co.,Ltd.. If you want I can put you in contact with the person I've been dealing with. Everyone wants Cree 3 watt leds. From the information I have found the 1 watt bridgelux leds are fine. To me its like everyone wanting a luxury car when most of us drive a ford or toyota and they work fine. Good luck with your search.

Oh I forgot to mention that they are the same ones that the 3reef sponsor Clams on Demand uses. Check out their site.

Thanks everyone, but I dont buy online anymore after I had my number stolen last year :(.

So do the ones in my Ad look promising enough to be on a 75 G Reef or should I just stick with what I know will work and get a 6 bulb Tek (which would be 300 dollars cheaper aswell). Main attraction to me towards LEDS in the fact that these bulbs would not need to be tampered with for 5-6 years. That means I would not have to do any replacements for 5 years, also within 5 years I would assume that LED technology for reefs would be more developed and widely available and cheaper too, so I could just pick up a new fixture when the time rolls by to replace the bulbs.

I have an 8 bulb t5 on my 70 gallon and it does a good job. For sps, I think you need more either way. You could go with the 6 bulb and suppliment with another light. I don't think that led panel will be enough light for a 75 gallon. Just my opinion. Also if cost is a consideration, Id still go led. With the tek you are looking at $180 us dollars to replace lamps every 8 to 10 months.

I think the 6 bulb would be okay, Im not into SPS too much. I only want soft corals and LPS corals. The bulb replacement is a huge factor to me, guess I still need to look around more.

I dont understand why either, most things ar epeople in China these days.

i say go for it. They look good and the picture provided shows just how bright they are. If i was buying them tho i would like the controller so i could control the colour and make them dimmable for the dawn/dusk effect.
