i use red sea. i've had it for a year because my puffer's tank, i thought my test kit was expired so that's why i took a water to the lfs to see if they were off, but the readings were exactly the same. My chemicals are running low so i do plan to buy another test kit when i have the money.

Is your tank near a litter box?

What did your salinity go up to? Are you using a refractometer or a hydrometer?

i was hoping to add the wrasse first once all the testings read 0 for a week or so, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen so i may get a clown first instead

i didn't have the rock shipped, but it was at the lfs already, the cheaper option to buy their rock was to buy a 40lb box of it, so thats what i got was 2 40lb boxes of live rock. This rock was in a cardboard box with wet newspaper, and still had the shipping address from fiji on it. Rock was cured and blasted once at fiji, and cured again at lfs.

    I'll do the W.C. tomorrow

last weekend the lfs had two black clownfish in the one of their tanks that i'm assuming is for sale :D maybe i'll talk my parents into going down to the lfs with me this weekend to pick up a fish, i should be able to afford one fish plus food at the moment. Maybe the fish will still be there and i can pick one
