haha, i saw him up until last week, he randomly appeard a few weeks ago, and then last week he randomly disapeard, but i've always had ammonia, it's never gone away, but it's getting closer and closer to yellow, not so much of a lime green color

alright... you can do what you want and all...

but please understand too that doing it again does not equate to going through this again. It would be a different experience and could very well be quicker than sticking to your guns. Many many people cycle in 3-4 weeks. If you still have .25 ammonia, you very well could take longer than that.

Additionally, the costs in doing it again are exactly one piece of small LR and whatever you pay for water... four or five bucks. You most likely already have the requisite supplies to nuke this rock and probably to cure it *the traditional way*. whichever.

The cost of sticking to your guns and adding livestock when you have .25 ammonia will be the cost of the livestock you go with. This livestock would create waste and add to the ammonia that your tank is already unable to break down.

IMO, by adding livestock now you are going to spend more funds and take more time than either a. waiting or b. starting over.

This dude is explicitly stating to break the rules and take risks... risk is fine and all, but if you are trying to conserve funds...

i think what i will do is take the risk. And if anything dies, i will wait however long i have to wait, and do what i have to do. Thanks so much for all of your wonderful opinions though i really appreciate it
