Thinking about starting my own website having to do with aquariums

I currently run a few other websites, and I find in my tank research that I have to go through a ridiculous about of bad information to find the good.

What are your thoughts?

Im thinking about doing various write ups on medicine and different types of fish.

It would be purely informational based

I dont know random thought for the day lol

 

Sounds like a good idea to me, do you have any xml/xtml programming experiance? If not to get what you want I would check out some books first.

I'm actually fairly good at programming, I've built a few sites in the past, what would you like to see on it?

 

I thought of this and actually started on a mock up in high school. But the fact is there is very little you can do besides consolidate information.

 

On thing you could do is start a aquarium wikipedia.

 

That is why I was really thinking, sor of like a wikepedia type.

I know there really isn't too much new information out there, but there is so much out dated information out there. I really thinking like a place for the most current type information. A place for quick information, I had an issue with brookynella, and I could not find any real solid information, and a lot of it was just plain wrong, plus I had to look a ridiculous amount of places just to find any relavent information.

I also want a place that would give solid info about each fish type, and compatibility, and the correct tank size for each fish.

I'm sure this is a big undertaking, but I have the time and I really think that I could do some good in the aquarium community, I've been helped so much here, and I'd like to give some back.

I have hosting, and I'm fairly good at publishing websites. Now I just need to figure out a web address and where to begin
