    Does your tank have a center brace, if so that MH could possibly melt it, if it gets hot enough. Just a thought, i could be wrong though.

    personally I'm not a fan of corallife, I bought a 36 watt pc fixture from them and I thought It was going to burn down my hood. Also a system that had 2 t-5s instead of the pcs as supplements would be alot nicer.

    Check out catalinaquarium.com, very nice people to work with and i got my light for a steal. Call them when ordering and you will get better pricing than the website says, and the shipping calc is jacked so the shipping will be alot cheaper.

    Als you might want to look into t-5's instead, longer bulb life, brighter and uses less power. As well as more options.

    I'd skip the power compacts in favor of a fixture with MH HQI/T5 combo. IMO.

    Which light of theirs do you have? I am setting up a new 120 and the 48" T5 with 2 x250 HQI and 4 54 watt T5's looks interesting at $499.

    How is their quality?
