Awesome, basically exactly what I was thinking, but nice to hear from someone else! I guess the fixture is around $700 (cheapest I could find a new one), so yes, over twice what they are asking for the whole setup!

This. 24" is so much nicer than 16".

If you can't then go with the first one.

    Well it's 18", not 16" :) And 18" is so much better than 12"!

I saw the setup I was considering tonight. Much more than I expected! Literally comes with everything needed, including Mag 12. The light fixture is actually a Current Orbit 6X96W CFL . Anyone have any experience with this, as far as for high light corals?

I think I am going to pull the trigger though. It is basically a 100% complete setup (including a 36W Turbotwist UV) for $350. I don't think I will find anything better. May even be able to get it a bit cheaper.

    Sounds like a heck of a deal... For a non-24" tank :)

Lol, 180 would be well over $1,000 more. Besides, leaves room for a future upgrade :)

Seems I'm late to this party and don't have much more value I can add, but I have to say two things (having had a non-drilled tank once and then a drilled tank, and a tank 19" in depth and then 27" in depth):

Drilled tank or no tank for me.

    And 24" minimum in depth.

True yes, and you'll hate me for saying this, but soon 18" will seem quite shallow too. Once you get at or past that 24" in depth mark, it's amazing how much more you can do with the tank. Aquascaping and coral placement is through the next door really.

No worries; I appreciate all input! I agree and eliminated all non-drilled tanks from my options :)

I don't hate you Hunter :) This upgrade will be going in our living room, so getting her to agree to the 125 was a blessing, nevermind trying to sell her on one that is 6" wider :-/ I searched and searched, and none of the people with 180's for sale got back to me anyways. We are planning to do an addition to the house. We both already agreed if we do, that is where the fish room will go. That one will be 24" depth plus!

Hopefully the 125 will keep me happy for a couple years!
