;) ok now that ive had it with my twelve gallon eclipse( not really) i decided that i am going to upgrade. but my question is how difficult is it to transfer all that stuff into one tank from another. i have a 5&1/2 gallon fuge, lighting, rocks, corals, fish, inverts, and protein skimmer(prism). im in the process of getting the tank, stand and canopy. also, is my new twenty tall going to go through that nasty "new tank syndrome"? any ones help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks to all
    jon :)

i would just be safe and start from scratch with new water and sand and maybe ur lr but leave ur coral and fish in the 12 untill its ok...also keeping the same fuge and filter so new bacteria doesnt have to grow, that would stop the new tank syndrome some i would think...it would be kinda tricky to do all of this...that is what im gona try and do...im getting a 12 or a 24 gal nano with 200w to move my rose BTA and clowns to for the light...hope it works out :)

ok, but if i set up this new tank how long do you recomend that i let it sit? i am going to get more lr and obviously more water, but how long should it be just FOWLR.

I've done both in the past couple years... when I transferred all sand and water... no blooms or cycle.

When I did new sand and some new water, I got some diatoms.. I say keep all you can.

It's not all that hard with a small tank. Just get some plastic containers or coolers to put rock in, etc... and some jugs/cans for the water. Then transfer sand, add rocks, water and go. :)
