Thinking of ditching fluval in favor of Reactor

    like the fellow forum member stated earlier....keep the canister for a back up...say your return pump went on you...at least hookin up the fluval will give you time to shop and get another...
    as for the biopellets,aswome choice me myself have pellets although am leaning on getting the jon warner eco-bak pellets in the near future...

    Libog2fish...what pellets are you currently using? The Ecobacks caught my eye as well, it's too bad they aren't as readily available as some others.

    Ok, so canister filtration is gonna be gone in favor of a biopellet filled reactor. I'd still like to run activated carbon for toxin removal. Without having to spend any more money, could I toss a small bag inside by skimmer body?

    Cncglasscutter...just wanted to let you know that you were right about the foam being the cause of the bubbles. Not sure why though. I changed my foam pads out today after rinsing the previous pair multiple times. Bubbles are gone. Still gonna swap out for the reactor though, but good to know for future use. Thanks.

    In with the new! 150ml of WM Eco-bak pellets. Next week I'll add another 100ml as recommended.
