I have a bta in my 12 gal nano. I did have to sacrifice a red open brain and some candy cane coral for the anenome. Luckily my friend has a shop so i gave up the open brain and canycane for store credit. I have a 10 gallon sump with a airdriven protein skimmer and about 6 pounds of live rock. A tupperware container with about 4 inches of sand with calerpa in it. I have 2 spawning clows, a red neon carribean goby, 3 leathers, 2 fungia plate coral, one green, one orange. some richordea, feather dusters and my bta which is about 5 inches across. I love my tank and so does my kids it sits in the corner of our bedroom. Sump containd in my stand. I have pics up not sure if you cand see them hope this helps>>>>>>>

Wow omard! Your tank is beautiful, it is EXACTLY what I am trying to accomplish with my first salt tank. I am picking up an already established 14 gal Oceanic tonight. I am going to use the old owners water, filter media, as to not upset the good bacteria.

    My question:

Is there any live rock in there? It looks like all soft coral. I never saw a tank with all soft coral.

Anyway, your tank is amazing. Any tips would be appreciated. What are the common mistakes newbs make? Probably adding too many fish!

    Anyway, amazing work. Definately art!
