    Welcome cryoman2,

Not familiar with this manufacturer but sounds like it is a real good opportunity for you to visit the factory and see things for yourself. I am not an acrylic fan, but that is a personal preference.

I like glass aquariums with the starfire glass front panel. Good luck and let us know what you find out if you visit the shop and talk with them.

Ok, I've heard of starfire glass several times, but never understood what it was exactly, so could someone please explain to me what all the hype is all about?

I've never dealt with the manufacturer in the link, but like Craig said you could go check out the factory.

Starfire glass is a special, extremely clear, low lead content which makes a dramatic difference in the clarity of the final product . Standard glass, which is used by most aquarium manufacturing companies is green, from lead, which distracts from the colors of the fish and coral.

Mike O's tank is truly awesome. Didn't take the time to read carefully but is it glass or acrylic?

    TIA

I'd love to have starfire, but isn't it really expensive, or has the price come down?

I think it's worth it and will get all but the back and bottom glass made of Starfire for my 240 gallon.
