I am thinking of upgrading my 40G to a 90G. I saw a decent deal on craigslist and was wondering what you guys think. It would have marinstar 2x 250 mh and have a side overflow into sump. The main question is I want to put the tank at the end of my bed so the tank would have two big viewing areas. Like nemos tank but with it not in the wall. I do not see a lot of these tanks done like this is there a reason is it to hard? I would start out using dry rock and sand and seed from other tanks. I want to do this setup perfectly. How hard would it be to aqua scape it so you could see well from both sides of the tank? I also want to try zeo dosing, should I try this has anyone heard any cons? So far it seems to work perfectly just a lot of work. Thank you opinions and questions will help.

Sounds like a good plan. I think the reason you don't see the 2 sided tanks often is that it can take up more space due to more area needed to see both sides and the difficulty of running all of the plumbing and etc on one short side. Zeo is real effective it just seems like you spend a lot more money on purchasing supplements.

Yeah I can see it being hard plumbing but I think I am going to do an overflow with it coming out at the bottom so all the plumbing will be hidden in the stand. How hard do you think it will be to get the rock to look from both sides? Have you done Zeo before?
