Well here we go again. I just got a new Yellow Tang for my tank. It is small about 4"and eating like a pig. Hopefully it will make it past a week. Let's see my track record.
1)Small Yellow Tang=>killed by Coral Beauty
2)7" long Foxface Lo=>killed by Coral Beauty
    Got rid of Coral Beauty!
3)Powder Blue Tang=>happy and eating first 3 days, day 4 swim sluggish and looking bloated, day 5 dead and stuck to a powerhead:mad: Bye bye $80.
    4)The new small yellow tang

The ironic thing is i had never lost a SW fish up to this point.
Here a pic of the new tang already at work.

Wow, now that's some hair algae. I'm still battling it a bit and brushing off large bushes. Trust me, nothing in my tank touched the big patches, you're better off scrubbing all the large brush of hair.

That is what I am hoping. I research my hair algae and found out that it is not only edible to yellow tangs it is one of the perferred spieces of algae the tang eats. The other fish in the tank are much better at picking Cyclop-eze out od the water and at wolfing down the flake food to so i am hoping the Tang will have to go to work on the algae.

Side note I think I may have a winner with this one. It was seriousily chowing down the first day. I drip acclamated it in the bag I got from the store. I set that bag in a green flowerpot so it wouldn't tip over and the Tang even during acclamation was picking at the green flowerpot!
    It was ready to eat.
