    if I know that someone is watching I have my kids go and wave. they smash their face against the glass :)

    Can you explain in detail how you'll do water changes?

    If I understand correctly, closing return valves to DT/reactors and opening drain valve will let you drain most water from skimmer and return sections of sump. Does it mean that your water change amount is limited by capacity of those two chambers?

    If you were running GAC and GFO, would you feed them dirty water from DT, or clean return water like your future reactors?

    Sorry for not replying to this....

    Yes the WC is limited to those 2 chambers. I have the system marked with the amount of water so I can change anywhere from 5 gallons to 30 gallons at a time.

    I only run bio-pellets, but if i was to run GAC or GFO I would probably just run it of my return pump.
