Help Please.. !!! My first saltwater tank....
pictures at .... shipbear - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Hope the Link works, Best pictures I could get..
I bought some mushroom's yesterday, And this is on it..

Very thick base, with 2 " vents " about an inch long sticking up, But no tentacles ..?? I's around 2 inches across, round base and about the same in height..
A purpleish/blue color going into a dark flesh tone color at base.. With some spots of the same color in the purpleish....

It shows no damage, eats good, and I see waste coming out of one of the vents at times.. The other vent must gather food..??
I got it at the LFS.. I don't think anyone knew it was on it..

Can an Anemone lose his tentacles and grow them back..??
OR, do you think he retracted them..?? Till he feels safe..??

I don't know how long he has been at the LFS..
It doesn't look like a fish damaged him..
I know the pictures are not very good, but can someone tell what type of mushrooms they are.. And the other thing if it is a anemone..

    Thanks for ANY Help, Larry

Two vents sounds more like a tunicate, but it's really hard to tell in the pics
