    Holiday weekend, even for me.

Watering this am and I find this baby diamond back. I tell Mic, make sure you do not run it over on the way out should he move before you leave, I get " so you are worried about the rattle snake really? what about me".

Well I made Enchiladas for him, so it's all good.

Hard to get a good up close of a rattle snake.

Enjoy the holiday, we all deserve it.

Yeah after I posted this, I hope I did not imply the rattle snake was part of the dish. ;D

Experts say that small or baby rattlers are more dangerous because they have not developed the ability to control the amount of venom they inject. Venom for a rattle snake is not something they can waste. A mice does not need nearly the venom a squirrel might require for the desired effect. A bite to ward off attack needs even less venom. Small rattlers may get handle more by humans striving for the Darwin awards as well.

You are welcome Seano, hard to find an audience for snake images. :)

This is where we differ on so many levels.....

You see a Rattle Snake, coiled up, ready to strike, and grab a camera...

I see a Rattle Snake, coiled up, ready to strike, and grab a Shovel to chop it's head off.....

    The Enchiladas look yummy!

Can't say much for the snake. Never has a rattlesnake crossed my path and lived to tell about it. ::)

Also, those enchiladas look incredibly good. Now I am glad I haven't had lunch yet, I think I know what I'll order ;D
