This has been a bad week at school

I haven't heard of the HOPE scholarship. But I hear ya, bud. I know I've never had a 3.5...

Hopefully - I will be leaving this place after high school.

 

There was a school board meeting for the district yesterday night and I guess they came across some money. A few of the teachers have been offered their jobs back, for another year. After that, we are not sure what will happen.

 

Well, im really sorry to hear about the demise of the public school system. Just to let you know up here in the great white north we welcome americans with open arms! Quebec has the least expensive higher education in north america, even at foreign student rates... Look into it(if you are a junior you can go to college and transfer to university after 2 semesters).

wisconsin just cut all our schools as well.....plus on top of that cut health care....now everyone is on strike.....yay........but i must point this out, its not the states fault, they were always egtting a certain amount of money from the us government and that has been cut because they put themselves so far into debt check out the website Stansberry's Investment Advisory its a long video but it explains a lot........

 

Yeah, they are doing the same at my school..I am in German I as of right now..They may cut german since he has the least amount of students..That means i have to start ALL over in a different Language if i go there next year...FML....

 

At my school you have to have at least two years of language. They used to offer French, German, Spanish and Latin. They cut Latin before I went to the school and they cut German during my sophomore year. They will be cutting French after the end of this year and will then only offer Spanish and Chinese.

 

I am just waiting for another revolution.

 

You guys do realize that neither the state, nor the federal government have any money. All they have is the ability to demand that someone else pay for stuff. Should that someone else be allowed any input into how the money is spent?

 

Yeah every one is out of money, but I don't understand the cutting of teachers, firefighters, and police officers. Those people are the ones we really need. Not the worthless representatives out for their own good and their party.
