Is it me or is this hobby really addictive? I mean I can't go one day without wondering if my lfs has something id like to have. Everytime I go into a fish store I feel like a crack addict lol. It usually end up with me leaving asking if I really just spent that much money. I go to pay and I find my self saying I don't care just ring it up now! Then the drive home I find myself trying to come up with excuses why I just did what I did lol. Anyone else have this problem? Hi my name is Chris and I have a frag problem lol. I mean I've had other hobbies, hunting, rc cars, cars, and I don't remember having this big of a problem. Now I realize I'm only skimming the surface as far as cash spent, but I can for see this becoming a problem. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

my fiance is constantly on me about how much I spend both from my wallet and time at the LFS. She finally gave in and started buying me gift cards on special occasions. So I in return started letting her name my fish. :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I think the amount of pictures I take, and the time I spend here speaks and it for it's self. Yes I am addicted so to speak, but it could be worse.

Sw makes me happy and calm, and I have been known to lie (white) about purchases, but it is all for the good of the tank you understand.;)

I know exactly how you feel because I did the exact same thing. I still do when it comes to livestock. The trick I have found as far as equipment goes is to be patient and try to find what you want/need online. New stuff is always cheaper online.

The only end is when your tank is completely full... and then you get a second tank. ::)

LOL! I'm in the same spot!
I've had FW my whole life, my wife wanted me to do saltwater, she fell in love with some seahorses, so I said I'd try it.

I've been consumed by it...thinking about it all day, planning my next tank (my FW is going to be converted), checking the boards for things for sale, spending money we don't have. Dreaming about frags and growing coral.

And we don't have seahorses yet....and my wife is sick to death of that stupid little aquarium.

I just spent over $200 at the store today. Seriously. And they have the cheapest prices in town on livestock & corals. The reallly sad thing? My boyfriend picked half of the stuff out, and I paid for it. Granted I got 4 fish, 2 shrimp, and a coral out of it (plus some carbon, some filter material, and some food), but still...

    Yes, I'm an addict. *sigh*
