Howdy all! Well, I picked up a couple of mushrooms and I noticed... Well a little buddy on there too. Then a second one popped up as well. I apologize for the less than stellar pic, all I had on me was my phone. That's aiptasia... Right?

On the second pic, if you look at the left side of the photo, there is a red, jelly/slime like substance... any idea what it is? Cyano maybe? It is a brilliant red, again sorry for the low, low quality.

Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

    Cheers!

First pic is a little blurry but it looks like a Majano to me. Invasive and a pest but doesn't multiply as fast as aiptasia. Second pic I'd guess is a form of sponge.

Fantastic! Thanks for the help... It seems to tick of the Zoas that are near it, can I just pluck off the Majano with tweezers or should I inject the little buggers?

I will try to get better pictures just in case...

    Thanks again!

If you can remove the rock, you should and then just take it off the rock and rinse any pieces parts that a left then put it back in the tank. ReefMonkey is right they don't spread anywhere near as fast as Appi's do, and I personally think they are kinda pretty.
