What is so bad about bubble algae? Is it just that I can over run a tank? Is it harmful to corals?

Missionsix I am not the ordinal poster I was asking inwall75 if a torch would really work because I am dealing with it and wanted to know what would happen if I tried torching the stuff and putting it back into my tank after rinsing the rock in clean SW, however; I do have red. http://www.3reef.com/forums/algae/fighting-back-bubble-algae-picture-102902.html

Civic it is IMHO the worst algae out there. It can live in near perfect parameters they say emerald crabs eat it but I have not seen that.
