    Hello all

I have this live rock in my tank for about 6 months. I found this little spot a while back. I was sure that it would most likely die off as it was in a very dark spot. It has not in fact it is getting a little bigger. So I figured it was time to find out what this is. Can anyone help me here?

Sorry for the cruddy PIC it was a camera phone

I agree that a better pic is needed, at least for me to ID it.

I need a better pic, but from that it appears to be a mushroom coral.

Looks like a fussy picture looking straight down at Aptasia. If you can't get a better picture can you describe it - does it retract?

Kinda resembles a protopalythoa or maybe just a regular paly of some sort.... But the pic is really fuzzy.

I am not sure what this is but a suggestion for taking a photo through the tank, put the lens right up to the glass and click. If you have lights turn them on and use the beach setting or portrait setting.

It looks like a rock anemone/flower anemone to me. I have a couple of them that came in attached to live rock collected from the Caribbean.
They come in various color forms.
Does it have some short tentacles on the outer rim? Kinda looks like a "sun"
