These are both multiple chip LEDs.
This one also have single LEDs around the outside but the main unit is a multi chip also.

The price for a 120W CREE I have been told MSRP is around $500 to $560 and the Wifi controller is about $100. I am not sure how this unit would work at all and that multi chip LED vs not multi chip LED just confused me even more as I am not sure what are the benefits or disadvantages of each.

The sales person who email me keep saying the light is for larger tank.If it is similar to Kessil150W( I was looking at 2x kessil150W light up a 3 ft tank with no problem) which I believe is 30W or 35W in total, then 120W should not have issue with light up a much deeper and larger aquarium.

I just afraid those spec sending to me is not even close to what Kessil can do.

I don't know, the brochure says it has 40 LEDs but there are 10 LEDs around the outside. Leading me to believe that the centra l LED is not in fact a multichip but a printed circuit board with the LEDs packed tightly together. Unless the whole entire specs chart is a lie, which seems just as possible if you read it closely.

if it were me i would definately tell them to send you 2 to test out, and if you really liked them that you would start to carry them. if they really want you to carry them they shouldn't have a problem supplying 2 for testing. if they say no, then tell them good bye.

Agree, but too bad, that to all those Chinese companies, "sample" are never free, none of them (including Zetlight) willing to do the sample for free even I offer to pay shipping. The differences in this case is that , I saw Zetlight fixtures in person when I was on my business trip to China.

I get the same offers from manufacturers on alibaba. I actually tried to carry a particular led fixture that looked exactly like the AI units with the same controllability and all but with the long shipping times and the lights being stuck at customs for a few days, I just wouldn't want future customers to be pissed when their orders would take 2 weeks to arrive. Because when I place an order from anywhere I expect a 3-4 day turn around.

Not to mention most of those China places only take wire transfer and those aren't cheap and unnecessarily raise the cost of your lights.
