    hello all,

right so before i start take solace in knowing that i doubt ill be able to post a picture. i have noticed on one on my rocks what would appear to be some kind
of anemone, its all white with a relatively fattish body (compared to the length of its tentacles), i have noticed it has changed location a few times and it seems to have 1 tentacle longer than the others seen through my tank it appears to be about 1/2 a cm. the reason why i am unable to post a pic is because its on a rock thats hard to see let alone capture a shot.

any clues or suggestions are more than welcome

btw im pretty sure its in an apitasia

If it looks similar to this, it's most likely aiptasia. There's more than one species and therefore a variety of shapes and colors, but the one notable feature is the single row of either stubby or stringy tentacles around the outer perimeter of oral disk (looks kinda like a hobo nem to me... lol).

the tentacles are much shorter and i have never seen apitasia change location once they have spawned.

If it looks like a anemone to you it most likely is. If it is all clear it may be really bleached and die shortly. if you don't like it or whatever squirt it with some Kalkwaser. A picture would be worth it if you wanted a straight answer.

It sounds like a Majano from the description.

Agree with Vinny. Majano was what came to my mind as well.
