    I got a new piece of live rock and it had different polyps on it that were closed up. I wasn't even sure if anything was still alive. This guy right in the middle has been getting bigger every day. There are lots of zoas on this rock, but this one is different.

    I was thinking leather of some sort right off the bat since its sort of tan.

    Nice guess. It is definitely fleshy so soft coral is clear at this point I think.

    I haven't touched it yet. It seems like its getting stronger. Maybe tomorrow I'll touch it. It looks soft and fleshy though.
