    It could reduce a little bit. You can try and put some socks on the overflow plumbing or squeeze some foam between the baffles if you have those. I have the PVC about 1/2 inch under the water lines so it doesn't splash and make more bubbles. If you have yours above water you can get a couple PVC couplers to extend it under water a little bit.
