This sucks

its about that time for me to change my bulbs, and the issuse that am have right now is that i cant find T6 bulb anywhere

so my two part questions is
do any one know where i can get 24" 96w t6 bulbs

And am thinking that I will always have this issue of finding these bulbs, so I was thinking of going to a t5. This is the one I have in mind

I don't know anything about T6's so I can't help with that part.

That fixture isn't just T5 though, it's a metal halide/T5 combo. Just wanted to make sure you realized that. Also I've heard some bad reports on odyssea fixtures, problems with ballasts overheating etc. You get what you pay for.

Personally I would look at something like this.

with a 29g You could probably get away with a single 150w MH if you wanted, or do a 4 bulb T5

 

i have a q for everyone i think i am going to go with this light but i am going to replace the ballast,taking screw advise. what would be a good ballast for this
