    Hi picked up a few more frags today, whats this green little bugger? hes dead smack stuck on there and I didn't notice him until i got it in my tank.

    reef/size friendly?

    looks to be an asterina,but a better closer pic on macro setting will help

    definatley an asterina,a few are known to munch on coral and coralline,most are reef safe. IME i've found them to be cool harmless freebies,they divide to mulptiply and thier numbers will go up and down with the amount of food available,i may see 10 at a time,might go a month without seeing one.

    I think the fact that there was one hanging out on a coral makes it a bit more likely to be a coral-munching variety...

    Hm, I just spotted another one that somehow made its way to a frag of my zoas across the tank. If I see one I'm tweezzering them out!
