    No Tank, No Cry?

So the tank deal I was hopeful about fell through, and I am bummed. He is a great guy, offered me a great deal on everything. We came to an agreement on the price and the tank is gorgeous!

I'm all excited, and leave work early to kind of move things around because I was gonna move that bad boy in this weekend.

I look at my door, and it hits me. It turns out the stand is too big to get through three door ways. I can't take the stand apart because it is nailed, and glued with biscuit joinery (it is also gorgeous and very well made by a custom cabinet maker).

And pppppfffffftttt. That is the wind going out of my sails.

    Damn.

I may end up buying some other stuff from him though equipment wise. Still sucks.

    The search begins anew...

It is 38"x38" square. 40" tall.

My doorways are 36 and 1/2" with the doors taken off.

So close...It was such beautiful height!

But, it just means it is not meant to be. I will find the one, it just will take a little while longer.

That's too bad. I hope you're able to find another tank that will work out better. I am excited to see what you get!

A good news update...long story short, the deal may work out after all. More details later, but in shirt I won't use the stand he has, and I'm gonna build another (with some help from friends and family of course).

Just working out a time to move it all. I'm super stoked! Keeping my fingers crossed that there are no more curveballs with the deal.

Hope to pick it all up this week...

    Yea!
