Nope, just the tailspot (smooch) and the clown (Millie) once I move the Starki out.

    Yes! I need ideas.

I was actually waiting on a pink streaked wrasse since may, and none ever came available.

I have also considered this guy:

    Scarlet Pin Stripe Wrasse

I have considered the possum wrasses as a whole and won't rule them out either.

Hmmmm, you have made some great suggestions and got my wheels spinning. Time for more reading me thinks.

The good news is that I tracked down my WAMAS contact for fish again, so he may be able to help me track down something good. He didn't have any luck on the pink streak either...

Flash the Starki has been caught and is currently in solitary confinement:(. I stopped by to see my friend Greg at the LFS, who is the complete opposite of the majority of LFS guys. He really knows his stuff, is a local go-to guy in the saltwater realm, and is a great resource. Anyway, he reluctantly agreed to take on Flash given how aggressive he is being.

He knows my tank well and also had a few new fish in that he recommended, none of which have previously been on my list for consideration in this tank. He even had the Scarlet Pin Stripe Wrasse in stock as well, and while tempting, I have decided to forgo that fish. I think that genus in a small tank may just be begging for aggression, even if it is the least aggressive of the bunch. It is a cool fish though, even more so after seeing it in person.

So who knows I may have one, (or even two!) new friends this weekend. Tomorrow I will say my good byes to Flash. I know Greg will take care of him and get him to a good home.

I saw a bunch of coral I liked too, but I know I will be over my budget just with the fish. Hopefully I have enough restraint not to go over the fiscal cliff.:yelrotflmao: :hehe::looking:

He He! Well, let me just say I belly-flopped and it was worth the price ;). Granted, my wife may not agree with me on that last sentence, but I think most reefers would agree with me.

I walked away with 2 fish and 4 corals. I know I am being a tease, but pictures and details will have to wait until later this week.

Params are good though: SG 1026, CA 430, Dkh 11 (okay so this one is slightly higher than I like, but still in acceptable range), Mg 1450, Nitrates 0, Phosphates 2.

Other than that, I have been lowering the output of my AI Nano as I think they might have been ramped up too high and I will let you know if any impacts.

    Have a good week 3reefers!

I've been incommunicado for to long! Here are the basics.
    First params: CA 480
    Alk: 9.968
    Nitrate: 0
    Phos.11
Many challenges have neared there ugly head. Most notably my dosing has not been consistent enough. Nresulted in a few burned tips or worse. I lost my peer winkle cap du to the swings. I've also lost a significant of my bubble gum milo. Trying to see what I can do to help he recover.

Despite the setbacks there has been good things too. My BN has recovered far be yond any hope and is a gorgeous orange green tip.

I've added a juvenile yellow two spot hogfish, as well as a terminal mail whip fin fairy. The are doing well, although they are still working out who the big boss wii be. Smooch and Millie seem to be settled and are peacefull.

Had a small cyano outbreak, but it was quickly taken care of by increased use of GFO and some flow changes.

My newest pest is a healthy population of asterina stars. Not to much damage, but they are eating all my coralline algae. I may start pullin them out to encourage the growth rather than have it eaten.

That covers the live stock. For corals I've got a nice setosa that is slowly but surely asking its way. I have the aforementioned BN. I have a frog spawn and a small club of symposium. Last but not least I have a green planet that is doing well, and a blue stag with green polyps that is growing well and a smal Monti infer a crusting well. I've also got an orange lephastreathe is still settling in, and he is taking his time.

I've got room for a fre more corals so we sill see

    Saturday Reefer!
