I guess your right luna.. Of course I'd kill the bird... You should see all the crap on my car windshield in the summer.... Plus I'm not that good of a rock skipper anyway....

 

So here are the results that can occur regarding these two choices as I see them:
A) You can give your kid a black eye thus scaring him for life(LMAO)
B) You can kill the bird thus affecting his family who relies on it for food and protection.
C) You can blame you kids blackeye on your son, daughter, or one of many other alternative people whether fictional or not, thus enabling you to get off scott free from D happening.
D) You give your kid a black eye thus opeing up the door for yourself receiving a blackeye or other negative impact from your wife or significant other.
E) You give your kid a black eye and risk the potential of being attacked by a bird in the area, and receiving a black eye, blemish or infection, not to mention getting S*&^%#! ed on by the passing bird, possibly due to aggressive behavior portrayed by the bird with a nest housing babies.
F) You skip a stone and it kills the bird and riccochets back towards you and ultimately hits your child giving him/her a black eye. Now this can stop there or be compounded with(D).
G) You can skip the stone and kill the bird, as another person who is also skipping stones close to you throws one errantly and it hits you kid in the eye giving him/her a black eye! This can also lead to (D) as well!
H) You can wake up from the terrible dream upon hitting the floor and landing on one of your childs toys thus giving you a black eye.
I) If you do in fact throw a rock and it hits your child causing him/her a black eye, you have no reason to be throwing rocks, shooting guns etc. in the first place, for running the risk of shooting your or loved ones eye out.
J) If you throw the stone and it kills the bird...a Sea Gull in the State of Connecticut and their is a police officer watching, you will ultimately do some time in jail as it is illegal to kill a seagull in the state of Connecticut!!!!! So due to this issue it is advisable to give your child a black eye, thus you still have the opportunity to spend quality time with your child and try to get on their good side again and possibly wife or significant other!

Yes it would be possible and for all practical purposes advantageous to blame it on the dog as it is "man's best friend" and a great escape goat.
