Thought I would say something other than Hello

Seemed like such a reused phrase in this forum lol.

I'm new here, also new to the hobby. I've joined as many salt water aquarium forums as I can so you may have seen me around. I feel it's important to read many sources of information for a well rounded knowledge of the subject you're interested in.

At any rate, really like it here. I lurked at this forum prior to setting up a saltwater tank. I can't remember what all I was reading, just remember the neat logo on the top left lol.

I'm somewhat of a jack of all trades, but some notable trades I have is I'm a photographer, am a computer guy, and am very cheap, thus make things myself or find cheaper ways to do things.

That pretty well sums me up, nice to meet you all.

Can you tell us about your tank?

 

Oh yea, forgot all about the tank.

Have a 55gal tank with a 20gal sump. 4x54watt aquaticlife t5 fixture. Coralife 65 skimmer. Chaeto in sump on reverse light cycle. 50lbs-ish of live rock. Very lightly stocked atm, just have 2 clownfish, 4 blastos, 2 acans, starpolyps, several mushrooms, and a frogspawn.

It's been running since about june of this year

Also, the picture is a picture of my emerald crab "nom". She's tiny, especially compared to the huge male "bandit".
