Corals will be coming sometime in future, but first I need some advice on my powerhead plan. I am not planning on keeping any high intensity or difficult corals.

I have a 65g and am thinking the following for flow (will be using my Reefkeeper Lite):

    - one Hydor Koralia 425 in the back near bottom on constantly
    - one Sicce Voyager 3 (1200gph) back, opposite of Hydor but placed more in the middle of the tank. This powerhead will be set to turn on/off randomly.
    - two Sicce Voyager 3s in the front aimed at each other alternately every 90 seconds.

This would give me at the highest about 43x turnover (not including return pump of 300gph approx). When the random powerhead is not on, then about 30x turnover.

I think this plan gives a good back and forth motion but also some chaotic movement as the powerhead in back will not sync with anything. Does this sound reasonable? Does the random powerhead in back need to match the two fronts? Should the little Hydor in the back be turned off occasionally? Thanks for your input!

2 mp10s or 1 mp40 would take up much less space, give you better flow, and give you a wave maker.

I don't know if I can stomach the price, though they sound great. Can you hook up two mp10s to one wavemaker unit? Plus, can you control the amount of time each pump is on? The reefkeeper gives me complete control.

An mp10 is a wavemaker in itself, there is no wavemaker unit. Each mp10 comes with a controller. There is a night mode where you could set when you want the pump to go to 50% power or you could just turn it off.
