Thoughts on this light for Fuge.

Now lets see if it will grow some stuff!!! lol

 

a little update for anyone looking at this light.
it works pretty good.
i even have some yellow zoas and a mushroom that hitchhiked on some rubble that seem to be doing well down there.

I googled refugium led light and this thread came about.

 

i can post some pics later if ya want.

so far so good. it has been growing nicely.
although i think with a regular bulb it may grow faster but i guess ya never no.

either way i am very happy with the light.

 

Cool Looks like the panel I was looking into getting but I'd get the 50/50 blue/white lights.
Looks a lot better than the twisty bulb & clamp on reflector my Seahorse tank has now so an upgrade may be in it's future.

another update-

seems like this light looses its juice after a couple months of use.
i hooked back up my spiral bulb and cheato started growing again.

analysis- its a ok fuge like for 3 months. after that, not so much.

im gunna hang it over my sump just for a light during the day when i wanna see sump level ect... so it wasnt a total loss of money.
