    hmmm if you hung it maybe yeah. i would just be worried about dark spots. i would just get like 2 or 3 250 watt metal halides.

    lmao 2 or 3 250MH... thats gonna be much more costly.

    anyways that other link for the odyssea 48" i have on my tank. i can tell you that one of the ballasts already died within 1 month of use.

    tank depth is a factor on what you can keep,but ive got montis up high and they seem happy. i can't afford the elect bill or the heat w/hallides.i love the t-5s awesome polyp extension.one thing i did do was swap out some of the bulbs for giessmans

    Whether it works or not will depend on what you are putting in the tank. If it is FO it would be overkill. For softies no problem but you are going to have dark areas on the sides. For LPS and SPS you will need to place them properly in the tank. I would get 2 36" fixtures if they have them. Them I would also swap out the bulbs for Geisemann, ATI or any of the other high end bulbs.
