I purchased the AI Sol Blue and an extremely happy. Yes each module is only 75 watts but thats more than you will ever need. I have two fixtures parallel with a 100G, 5 foot tank and have no dark spots even at 40% white, 35% blue, 35% royal blue. I was cooking SPS at 50% so backed them down until things acclimate but do not imagine ever getting over 50 to 60%.

Sweet, I think that settled it for me. The versatility of the AI is really making it pull ahead, bc I'm worried about coral shock, so w them I can avoid that. With the AI I'm assuming if they come out w violet or different bulbs you'll just swap out? I think I'll start w three and move up if needed.

THe AI Sol Blue has white, blue and royal blue bulbs and each color is adjustable seperately from 0% to 100% in 1% increments. There is no need for a violet bulb with the royal blues, corals pop under the combination.

You don't need to swap for "violet", the royal blue is an amazing color with a small amount of UV, not overkill like the Boost. I with they had T5 replacement strips of those RB bulbs (*hint hint* if you're listening AI!).

The modules have a few "pucks" of LEDs. There's 3 on each puck (I think), and you can swap the pucks if they ever upgrade the LEDs themselves or change colors (which you really don't need because of the adjustment available).

I posted phots in a couple of the different AI Sol LED threads of my canopy and how I used T Track to mount the fixtures inside the canopy. That got the lights 12" above the water where their leg kit is only like 6" above and much more expensive.
