When i bought him they said the shrimp would dig a little well he has dug more then a little, but it seems that my YWG is coming out of his hole more now since i got the shrimp. I have a vid if i can figure out how to upload it.

until he finds a spot that he likes. pistols will move the sand A LOT, so those "sandstorms" in your tank aren't unusual

it never stops. they will renovate your entire aquarium and do it again. it is an endless event. pistols work by nature. they dont stop when they are content. they are never content.

have fun with them. they are fascinating creatures

Thank you for all the replies and he is a wonderful creature to watch pulling and pushing sand everywhere just the left side of my tank for now.
