    Just curious, but do they have to be overly hungry to scavenge on a dead whale, or is that normal behavior for a shark?

    Completely normal; standard shark feeding frenzy.

    There's theory whale carcasses are when/where shark mating occurs.

    Tiger sharks are garbage disposals. Opportunistic feeders, so to speak.
